My Sony Vaio PCG-71911M (Black Screen)

My laptop screen is completely black when I turn it on, the lights on to say it's on and I can here it starting to boot up but the screen just stays completely blank? Any ideas what could be wrong with it or any solutions to fix this? Thanks, Jack.

Try to connect other monitor and see if it will appear on screen. It could be possible that your Vaio screen needs replacement.
