my web cam notworking

cant get  my webcam to work vpceh2h1e laptop please help

You haven’t given us much to go on!

Did the camera ever work?

Have you changed the operating system?

Is the camera listed in Device Manager under Imaging Devices? If not are there any unknown devices listed?

cheers rich for the reply yes the web cam worked before used it to skype with my daughter.so we tryed to skype again cam was not working the green light is on but no image tried web cam companion 4 but still nothing if you could help it would be awesome getting some earache from my daughter looked on my devices and checked device manager imaging devices sony visual communication camera checked it and it says its working

I am having the exact same problem with Sony Vaio Laptop!.. The Green light is showing, It also says that Sony Visual Communication Camera is working fine, and when I go onto ArcSoft Webcam Companion 4 the camera turns on but there is a blank screen. Do not know what to do .. please help me out! Thanks!
