Problem creating recovery media on a USB flash drive

I have a VAIO SVF15N1N2ES using Win 8.1. I have a problem with creating a recovery disc using av 32 Gb SanDisk flash drive. I have tried to reformat (FAT32, NTFS) the USB flash drive but it still won´t work. The USB flash drive shows up as a fixed disc in the explorer - not as a movable disc which is necessary acccording to the manual and hence I can´t proceed creating the recovery media.

Hi “Diabdoc”
The solution is:
Buy another USB 2.0 flash media drive, that not appears on PC, as Fixed Drive!

PS (from another post of mine)

The difference between Fixed and Portable Media Flash Drive, is the value of ONE bit!!!!
RMB (Removable Media Bit). But there’s no official way to change this value. Unofficial “tools” say: Flipping the Removable Media Bit is not always possible and
Warning - The procedure varies for different USB Flash Drives and you may end up with irreparable USB Flash Drive.”
