Problem Playing Blu-Ray Movies

When i hook up my Vaio to my VIZIO TV and try to watch a blu-ray movie i get this error, "your display environment does not support protected content playback". The FN then F7 function does not give me a choice between laptop or monitor, just laptop - setup. This is really aggravating. I have contacted SONY directly but they cant help me. I have contacted VIZIO and they told me my tv is HDCP ready its probally just a setting in my VAIO that needs to be changed. Can anybody help me??

Sorry I read your other post first.

If Fn + F7 does not offer the HDMI output then it is not recognising the HDMI connection to the TV.

Although this could be the Vaio, it is far more likely to be the TV - have you tried connecting the HDMI cable before turning on the TV?

What Vaio do you have?
What model TV do you have?
