Hi, hope someone out there can help me with this? I have a Vaio Laptop which earlier today I tried to do a system restore but unfortunately I got a message to say that it couldn't be completed as there was a possible disk error & the suggestion was to run chkdsk /r. I started this about 3 hours ago but it seemed stuck on 27%. I've just switched the machine off & on again but it still tries to run the chkdsk again. Is there a way of re-booting it without it trying to run the chkdsk again please? I set the chkdsk off in Safe Mode.
