I have recently updated my VAIO VGN-FS315Z to Vaio Update 5.
The problem is that when I try to actualize over the window which reads
Automatic actualizations: 1
Following programs of actualization will be downloaded an automatically installed
Vaio help and support center update 2.1.1.00..
Then I proceed to right click on "actuallice now" but the only reply obtained is...
"the current cab file can not be found" any suggestion???
I still waiting ansiously for a reply of this

have you tried downloading and installing the VAIO Help and Support Center Update - 2.1.1.00 from the Vaio support site.?
If not you can download the updates from Vaio support..
To open Vaio support, either by clicking Support at the top of this page or use the following link:Vaio support
Under Log-in option 2: Select your VAIO model, next to Select Model Category - Select your model from the drop down list, in your case VGN FS.
Then next to Select Model - select FS315Z
Then click Log-In
Once logged select Downloads and follow the installation instructions..

My dear friend Thalamus, I have just followed yr suggestion step by step and,furtherly to have downloaded that file, I tryed to actualize by clicking over thes file but still insisting in advise again and again "The current cab file cannot be found" any other suggestion that may help me??? Thank u very much

I suspect the reason for the problem installing this update is probably because the update was installed previously, for some reason old updates have been appearing in Vaio update 5 even though they have already been applied..
