I have a Sony Vaio, product name is vpcel1e1e. I have done:
Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound > Recording tab.
I have clicked so it shows both disabled and disconnected devices, but the only thing it shows is "Internal Microphone."
How can I get Stereo Mix, or is there an alternate program so I can play sounds through Skype? Youtube, Soundboards, etcetera.
Thanks!

Hi Joshnmiebion and welcome,
Along with several other manufacturers, Sony has disabled Stereo Mix since Vista was introduced in 2007.
I don't think there is any way to activate this on the internal soundcard.
Presumably this is a misguided attempt to prevent pirating of copyrighted music - problem is that it stops owners using features that are quite legal.
