WEBCAM NOT DETECTED ON VGC-LV1S

I have recently installed Windows 7 on my VGC-LV1S, the webcam has been working fine for a few months now but all of a sudden it has stopped working.

It doesn't work in MSN Messenger and Webcam Companion gives me a message saying Web Camera is not connected or is being used.

Device manager also doesn't have any exclamation marks.

The thing is on the support page there are no drivers available to download for the webcam, nor does anything say what make/model the webcam is so I can download the drivers myself. Can anyone help me with this?

Hi jazz_x.

I believe the webcam uses the default Windows drivers. The webcam does not appear in Device Manager unless it is switched on using Vaio Smart Network - have you installed this for Win7 here: -

Hi Blencogo, thanks for the quick reply.

I had already installed Vaio Smart Network, but I uninstalled it and reinstalled it again and the webcam began to work...BUT my bluetooth stopped working immediately.

I've had this problem for a while now, it seems like its either my bluetooth that will work or my webcam but not together for some strange reason. I recieve any error saying something along the lines of Bluetooth stack device failed to load. Although I have tried updating to the latest drivers provided by Sony.
