DSX-A510BD DAB Radio Stations
I installed a DSX-A510BD in my car today and everything worked great. I then thought it would be worthwhile updating the firmware to the latest version which I did.
However, following the update I now have no sound coming out of my speakers when I select a DAB source. It has detected the stations and also updated the clock from DAB but I cannot get any sound out.
I have tried turning the unit off and on, performing a factory reset and also reapplying the firmware but nothing makes any difference.
Has anyone come across this before or have any suggestions on how to fix ?
Many Thanks

@Bobster Try to follow this part No sound or the sound is very low. page 27
Try to test different sources of music like USB or connect it to your phone

Hi and thanks for the reply.
yes I have tried all of the suggestions in the manual but no joy. All other sources work fine too it is just DAB which no longer seems to be receiving a signal since the update (although it is displaying the station info, setting the clock etc)

Hi, yes I sent the unit off to Sony who repaired it and sent it back.
it all seems to work now although I haven’t used it in earnest due to the vehicle being in storage for winter:
no real explanation though and was disappointing that it worked for literally 5 minutes until the firmware upgrade (I haven’t attempted this on the newly repaired unit, just in case)

Ah ok thanks for replying so fast, I unfortunately had to update the firmware to fix the Bluetooth issue and only just getting around to fitting the DAB antenna.
