USB internet access in wireless only tablet

Is it possible to use a usb internet doggle with the sony wireless tablet

Sadly not. The USB connection as with most Tablets is for data only. The ability to use wifi dongles is still for use with computers as Tablet devices do not carry the drivers required for this to be done.

Your best option would be to consider a mi-fi which is like a personal wifi hot spot dongle.

Have any of you guys tried XDA developers - loads of forums and topics about using 3g dongles there - plenty of tablets have been 3g enabled on those forums.

Get an Xperia Phone and use the mobile hotspot feature, works really great for me.
