I have a similar problem with my bluetooth earplug. I think it needs a software update.

Most of my devices work but I cannot see either of the blutooth dongles I have. One is an edup EP-B3502 the other does not show a model. I have tried everything I have seen on here but still does not see devices.

This is really annoying as it is one of my main uses of the phone. Had Sony mobiles for years but wish I had not bought the zx2 premium.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Unbelievable, this now works (I have no idea why it works now). It started to work as soon as I posted the message yet I have been trying to get it to work since October.

Does that deserve a thanks..... 😀

Thanks anyway

Have u test if another Bluetooth device can send files to your laptop? Maybe the problem is in your laptop, like a firewall blocking the connection, check out and let me know

Wow, great support on this board.  With this many users experiencing problems after v9 upgrade, you might want to assume there could be a problem rather than assuming it's always on the user side.

I have used my current phone as well as xperia z3 for a number of years with same bluetooth headset.  And now have challenges.  It doesn't fail to pair.  But I can't hear some types of audio sometimes when I'm connecting and trying to make a phone call.  Re-pairing has generally corrected the problem until today.  The bluetooth headphones still work fine when connected to my laptop.

Having read the rest of this thread, I'm not expecting any decent suggestions or help from this post.  Just wanted to point out that there is obviously some sort of problem to the dismissive posters "helping" the previous posters.

I also believe, that there are issues with the Bluetooth interface since the new android version.

The connection to my car takes a really long time now, it was working better before. However I am having struggles since DEC 2017 actually... All known devices were just dropped and I am having issues by connecting to some devices - Sometimes it is not even possible after restart... I was always thinking, that it could be the hardware, but right now I am not sure anymore...
