Hi all,
So I'm trying to fix my friends Sony Xperia xz1 as she has some valuable photos etc she wants off of it that can't be replaced. She said her phone just died on her one day and wouldn't charge, turn on or react to anything.
I have changed the battery and it now charges, turns on, vibrates, even had an alarm go off on me the other morning that I didn't know was set so the phone is fully functioning except for the screen. I have tried 2 different screens but when I connect, nothing happens. The don't light up or anything. I have tried holding volume and power button until it vibrates 3 times but that doesn't help.
Is there anything I can do to get the screen working or get the files off the phone in this state???
