To SONY representative: There is an issue with my Xperia XZ2 while using the GPS..I turned on the GOOGLE maps and selected a place to go . The GPS came on knowing my location precisely. IT told me to turn LEFT. After I made the left turn, no matter what I do next, the GPS remained in silence. IT indicated ZERO ft. It did not know that the car was in motion already and it could not follow my car's location. IS there a FIX to this issue ? IS this a hardware issue ?? Thanks.
Finally I did a system software update on my XZ2. After this effort, the GPS started working effectively without any issue.. IF you have a GPS issue, you should do a system software update first before thinking of anything else.
