Not really. Missing some features like the new navigation key. But it's stable.

Please guys, have you had the issue before, when the speakers sometimes make cracky sounds continuously?? If Yes, do the android pie update fixed it!

Please tell me guys, i'm on my last month of warranty so i'm still worried should i return it or keep it waithing for the update!

Smoother than Oreo, no crash so far, but drains more battery than before (Oreo) it doesnt fix Theme issue, we still cant instal any theme we instaled

I am facing couple of issue after updating to Pie.

1.I am unable to install new or old theme tought issue will resolve after updating to pie but hard luck

2.phone crash some time when trying to pic the call. 

3.finger print is not quick and some time it will not work i have to unlock phone using patter. 

4.white color navigation bar which is anoying.

5.battery drain fast even phone is idle as compare to oreo it worst.

Sony u need a best tester to deliver the quality of product.

Please suggest any solution for above issues

Installed OTA this morning, after update the adaptive brightness app reported a crashed a few times but a restart fixed that. No other issues detected.

Themes (Xperia) installed in Android 8 still works fine, fingerprint unlock same as before/fine, etc.

As Sony again is in the forefront of distributing the latest Android release (Pie), some third party app/developers of apps has probably not being able to yet update their stuff.

They probably will when more handsets gets the lastes release, but as of now if an app does not work; report it back to the developer of that app.

I had theme issue on Oreo and Pie downloading new ones or choosing installed ones didn't work, update didn't fix issue. I reset all app preference (app settings/show all apps the click menu in top right an reset all apps) worked for me (But all app permissions need to be granted again)

My email app won't start (the standard app), ambient display is a joke (can't see the notification text, only a dot), adaptive display sometimes works, and sometimes doesn't, the background apps are not closing, battery drains faster. IMO they should have waited another month to release, after polishing it a bit
