XZ2 Compact sim 1 not working.

Hi there, my xz2 compact stopped reading my SIM card in slot 1. SIM is fine cause it works in slot 2. However I can't use the SD card now. Happened suddenly and not immediately after update. Tried software repair but problem persisted. 

Another issue I've had with this phone was sometimes screen freezes, only locking and unlocking phone makes it functioning again. Any help?

Sounds like a hardware problem or contacts inside your device.

Check with another SIM card or clean the SIM and try again and clean and again and again... maybe?

You did check in Safe mode as well?

Report back if you cannot find a way out.

Yes it looks like it as sometimes the phone is reading the sim sometimes not. Don't know what to do actually because there are no sony phone retails around me cause I bought the phone from abroad from the UK. Phone is still in perfect condition but this issue is a headache. Thank god it's a dual sim, making it possible to use sim 2, but it comes at a cost not being able to use an SD card.
