Xz2 compact sound distorted

Since last update the sound from the speaker is distorted no matter which settings I use. I have the feeling it's software and not hardware...

Android 9.0

Build number 52.0.A.11.32

Please, fix this.

Small update:

After the last major update to Android 10, build 52.1.A.0.532, the bottom speaker is still scratching.

I am starting to suspect the issue is hardware and not software related.

Any comments, Sony?
