How do I connect my A7R II to my iPad using cables? I want to be able to see what is in the display on my IPad.

You need a mini HDMI connection to be able to.

I don't think iPads allow the screens to be used as external displays through cables tbh, unless used as an external display on a Mac.

I think it will have to be done wirelessly through imaging edge software.

Or alternatively you can also use a video wireless transmitter like DJI raveneye using the Ronin software.

@Lord_viridis, I have no knowledge about iPads, I wanted to suggest the Imaging Edge app, but vladimirlagunas1969 was specifically asking about a cable connection, the suggestions seemed interesting. I was just waiting if they didn't work to suggest IEM.
