Audio Dropouts KD-50X75WLPU
Hi,
I recently purchased SONY BRAVIA KD-50X75WLPU.
I have an optical cable to a Sonos Playbar. I am getting intermittent audio dropouts when I watch TV from any source (stream, Xbox, DVD player etc). It's not the Playbar (no dropouts when I stream music to it). The drop outs are very brief - less than a second or so.
I've tried swapping the optical cable - no joy.
I read somewhere 'reboot' the TV by unplugging the power cable for a few minutes. This hasn't resolved it.
Firmware is up to date.
Any other ideas anyone?!
TIA

If you have the Playbar disconnected, do you get the dropouts over the TV speakers?

Thank you for the reply - no it doesn't happen.

Try rebooting the TV by pointing the remote at it and holding down the power button for just over five seconds,

Also, if you have an option to test the soundbar with another TV using the same connection, could you try that and check if the same thing will happen or not?
