Connecting to internet using virgin box with router

Internet router is connected to virgin box and use that to watch tv and record. Should we have the connection for the wifi in the back of tv to get software and firmware update?

Hello @Pat1951,

you are probably referring to the LAN port on the TV? If so, I would recommend to connect your TV to the internet.
