Where are the 3 years old Unsolved issues Android TV?

Hi @micalfisti,

Together with the introduction of a new Sony Android TV operating system revision, the largest group of Sony Android TV owners will have the possibility to upgrade in order to benefit from the latest improvements. For this reason it is always preferred to pin a thread as sticky which reflects on the possible issues for the largest group of users. As Android TV 8.0 Oreo is currently the latest version which most users will be using, the thread with the latest revision of Android TV replaces the previous thread.

However, note that bugs or issues mentioned in a sticky thread on this community are not there as a backlog task list for the Sony software development team, but are there only to have a thread where the community members can easily visit and be informed of the most common issues using a quick search. The Sony software development team frequently gathers and prioritises issues to include in the development of new firmwares through a number of different ways, in particular through the issues that users just like yourself report to the Sony Customer Support team.

So in short if you are encountering a particular issue with your Android TV which you would like to be solved, the best recommended way for requesting a fix is through reporting your issue with as much detail as possible to Sony Customer Support.

Cheers,

Dutchice

Hi @dutchice

First of all, Oreo is not the largest group of Sony Android TV owners.

There could be both threads pinned.

Removing means do not want to be visible. This is the ostrich method.

Problems still exist for previous OS and ATV1 ATV2.

Sony Customer Support DOES NOT know about this Forum, they refuse the existence, they do not forward issues to Sony programmers but just give a case number, they DO NOT inform about the progress of your issue, they simply DO NOT care.

Things are very simple. If Sony does not want problems to be seen, if Sony Customer Support does not recognize these forums, they can just close these forums.

Cheers
