? I cannot connect my DCR-DVD110E via the USB

When I connect the camera to my PC the Handycam utility comes up with the message "unable to retrieve the managment data" and then shuts down, I have downloaded the PMB twice and the error is still there everytime I plug in the camera. I want to copy video from teh camera to PC then burn a DVD, any help would be appreciated.

PMB is for photo only not for video
