Not able to download photos with the new PlayMemories app

I have just realised that the old PlayMemories app was deleted from my IPad. I have downloaded the new version but it does not connect with my camera so I cannot download any photos. There are many negative comments on the app page. Has anyone any top tips please?

Hello @Panaji123,

just to verify - the new App you are talking about is the Imaging Edge Mobile App?

If you downloaded anything else, it is not the new PlayMemories Mobile App.

Hi Nic, Thank you so much! It’s very confusing as the camera still displays the play memories option under applications. I had tried resetting it but the bar code wasn’t displaying as I had already activated this for the PlayMemories app. Anyway it’s working perfectly now with your suggestion.  I really appreciate your help!
