Sony SRS X9 and Spotify Connect

Hi,

I have used til Sony SRS X9 with Spotify Connect, but after the recent update Spotify doesn't list my X9. Spotify still lists other connect devices and the X9 can still play directly with e.g. TuniIn -> It is online! The DHCP server has refreased all IPs and all are in range. What can be wrong? Is the support gone?

I encounter also the same thing and sony support Belgium told me that songpal and spotify is no longer supported on the srs-x9. This is odd as my device is only 9 months old.

same for me. My X9 only very occasionally shows up in the spotify connect devices list. I have a SRS-X88 as well which works absolutely flawless so far.. might go and "update" the x9 to the another x88 as sound wise they are pretty much on par (to my ears).

Sony needs to up their game with firmware and software - 1 year after selling the product it's already outdated and "not supported" anymore?
