Blue Ray player and TV

A Blue Ray Player BDV-E280 is installed with my Sony Bravia KDL 40EX 724.

The connection has, after a couple of years, become unstable: the TV sound interferes and destroys the otherwise excellent sound quality of the Player, shifting on and off. And the subtitles on the TV screen come and go, unpredictably. The two problems seem to be interconnected.

I thought about reestablishing original settings, but cannot see how.

Hi there

There is a 'resetting' menu in the setup on the bluray player.

On the TV, goto HOME > System Settings > General Set up > Factory Settings.

Also, try changing HDMI cables if that doesnt work.
