Have the Wireless Rear Speakers (SA-Z9R) for the HT-ZF9 Soundbar been discontinued?

I am of limited means and was saving to buy the SA-Z9R rear speakers for the HT-ZF9 Soundbar and have been advised by a retailer that they have been discontinued!!

Is this true?

Haven't really seen anything to indicate that, but you're better off reaching out to the Sony support reps for info about that.

I have tried ringing my nearest store in Swansea but there's no reply.

No joy with Sony Support Reps.

Got through to my local Sony centre in Swansea. Was told that the wireless rear speakers are no longer available.

Somewhat ridiculous when Sony are still selling the soundbar!

I’ve taken them out again now.

Whether they are really there, or whether they will ship them to the UK, and so on, I can’t say, but worth exploring.

I tried Sony Centre and it seems like it's out of stock there. Have you tried the store locator tool at the bottom of the page supplied by the support reps? @Blumine1818

I have found an ex-display pair from a company called TVC Electrical in Yorkshire who are very kindly posting them to me.
