When I first set this sound bar up the A/V Sync button worked as expected, but not when pressed all the lights on the sound bar light up as if it is disabled.
The TV is a KD43XH8505
Is something set up wrong?
How about toggling back and forth between the 2 options for HDMI signal for that input (HDMI 3)? (Settings - Watching TV - External Inputs - HDMI signal format)
Also check that Bravia Sync is enabled (Watching TV - External Inputs - BRAVIA Sync Settings) as some users reported it affects ARC operation on the forum before.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have tried this though along with the other input, signal and sync settings.
Yea I had tried this. Shouldn’t it be best left on anyway?
Deinstalate Tune-In from Google Play and everything will be OK.
This isn’t installed
After reading the thread, I don't see a way that the TV might affect a function on the soundbar. Did you try changing the HDMI cable? Or try the bar with anther TV if possible? Hannah
Yes I have tried with another cable and it was the same. It is just strange that it did work for a few days and now it does not.
The only way I can get the feature to work again is by plugging the HDMI into the standard HDMI port on the sounder and not the eARC port, which isn't want I want.
Hi Andy,
Hope you're alright. It's indeed strange that this happened out of nowhere, but my focus is on the real immediate issue which is lip sync. Are the AV Sync settings enough to mitigate it?
The only way the lip sync seems to be ok now is by the following settings:
Display & Sound/Audio Output
A/V sync - Auto
eARC mode - off
Digital audio out - Auto 2
Changing any of these throws out the lip sync.
Is it a waste though to have eARC mode off?
