I have a DVP-FX740DT that has issues since I reeived it as a present, about three years ago. Main issue: it keeps losing charge quickly. It started with 5 hours playing time, then this reduced to three, two and one. I'm wondering whether to spend money on getting it repaired or to buy a new model, which is cheap and cheerful, and has no TV and remote (so no fast forward etc.). Sympathetic adivce most gratefully received. (There's no repair shop nearby so there are also post and packaging costs to consider.)
