My proxy server requires a username and password. But there seems to be no way to set this on my new blu-ray player? Anybody able to offer somehints. I could work around by setting up a proxy server on my laptop to cascade the service to the player but this really defeats the reason for buying the player.
Hopefully somebody can help, otherwise I fear I may have wasted my money!

Sorry that no one has been able to help you on your problem, and unfortunately I do not know the answer either. You may or may not be aware, that these forums are a community forum of which if you want a reply from Sony, you need to contact them directly.

I am disappointed Sony. I expected more. Clearly I am not valued as a customer.
