I have this soundbar connected to my LG 49sk8500pla tv using the HDMI ARC, I have a Sky Q box connected to the soundbar on HMDI IN. When watching sky recordings, the audio regularly cuts out and I have to power off all three devices to regain audio. Please can anyone advise? Soundbar firmware is the latest release and all HDMI leads are brand new and are HDMI 2.1 compliant. Sky Q box also running latest software release.
Thanks all.
Have you tried changing the audio settings listed in the Manual (starting page 34), updating the soundbar to the latest version or connecting the SkyQ box directly to the TV instead?
Toggling Audio DRC and Effect around might help you understand the issue better (if it's related to the soundbar).
As for my 2nd suggestion, you can adjust the A/V Sync settings to account for the lipsync.
If neither help, maybe check for some LG support in case the TV has any helpful settings for example.

Hi. I'm having the exact same problem with mine and I've just been doing some research and found this on the sky community page. Not sure if it works yet but I've just change the setting on my box. Might be worth trying. I'll let you know if it works on mine tomorrow.
The issue for me was the wifi coming from the Sky Q Box itself not the Sky router. I disabled both the 2.4hz and 5.0Ghz (could have done them seperately to find out which was actually causing the problem) on the Sky Q box and this has resolved the sound cutting out problem. Se link below on how to disable is
