Sony STR-D590 - Pure Direct setting

Dear Sir/Madam,

I recently purchased this product.

I would like it to be set in "Pure Direct" mode whenever i start the receiver.

I have to change this every time i start the receiver from standby, it does not remember this setting.

It is really annoying to have to press the button every time i want to watch something in surround mode.

How can this be fixed?
