Recently upgraded my Tv ( model: Bravia KD50X89J) Which as a stand alone performs flawlessly. On enhancing sound quality further I've have linked it to my Home Theatre System (HT-CT660) through HDMI connectivity. Sadly after short period of time, the sound mutes which can last from seconds to minutes before re engaging. I've stripped it down a few times but the issue remains. Only to add the tv via HDMI connection for standard viewing is watched through a V6 box from Virginmedia.
Hi, did you connect it to HDMI 3 as that's the ARC port? also, did you enable to ARC settings on the TV?

problem now resolved faulty port .
