Any recommendations for compatible tv recorder and cd player please

Hello @Marhara600,

if your TV doesn't support internal recording, I'd recommend a XORO receiver. They are rather inexpensive and most models support USB-recording (to a flashdrive and/or HDD).

As a CD-Player I would actually go with a Blu-Ray Player (they play CD, DVD and Blu-Ray) - if you have no interest in UHD-Blu-Rays, my recommendation would be the BDP-S3700.
