UBP-X800 Blu Ray Question

Hi.

I use smart TV (Sony XR-77A80J) connected via ONE HDMI cable to the PreAmp HDMI OUT .

In addition, The Blu-ray player ( Sony UBP-X800 ) is connected via HDMI cable to the PreAmp HDMI IN  Input.

A cable / Sat box also connected via HDMI cable to the PreAmp HDMI IN 1 Input.

When using the cable / Sat box for watching and want to start watching Blu-Ray instead , I turn the Blu-Ray ON and ( I think the PreAmp change automatically TV input via CEC ) and the Blu-Ray menu is on TV screen and ready to watch.

Now, When I want to RETURN to watch Cable / Sat again ( as it was before watching Blu-Ray ) I Turn Blu-Ray OFF But NO Cable / Sat picture is seen. Only Black screen. To Return to sat / Cable I need to change in the PreAmp to Sat / Cable Manually. ( Usually with the remote control by pressing Cab/ Sat source button )

Is there an option to learn the Blu Ray to return use Sat /Cable automatically as it’s the only connected ON state device ?

Or, it is probably the TV that "hears" the Blu-ray and switches on it while the same does not happen with the Sat. Everything will be managed by BRAVIA Sync which is "Control for HDMI", does the Sat have this function and is it active?

The Sat Box doesn't have a CEC option.

Hi @ronenza   It may be called HDMI Control. All Sky and Freesat satellite boxes have it if connected by HDMI.
