XF-9000 flashing TV and USB lights

Hi.

My soundbar is playing up. When I plug my STB in the sound bar and then the sound bar to the TV I select HDMI, the led lights change on the soundbar  to flash TV and USB. Nothing is displayed on the TV. Can't even get into the main menu. 

Has my soundbar had it? Gutted. 😡

The word flash occurs 47 times; do any of these explain what you are seeing?

This one (page 53) looks promising:-

Depending on the order in which you connect the TV and the system, the system may be muted and the TV and USB indicators flash slowly. If this happens, turn on the TV first, then the system.
