KD 49XG7093 Optical out no DD

Hi I have tv KD 49XG7093 connected via optical cable to amplifier Sony DE 598

TV has PS3 , Android box., Satellite receiver connected via HDMI. In AV setup I have selected Audio System (Speakers) and Auto 1 /Auto 2 (Digital Audio Out). With this I can not get any better signal on amplifier than DD 2.0 even though I have DD 5.1 or DTS from connected equipment. Would anyone know why this might be happening please?

Hey, 

Did you try to connect the amplifier to the TV through HDMI ARC port and check again, this connection should provide more features than the optical connection I think.
