The red button is not accessing any BBC interactive service even though the set is connected to the internet.
Any ideas, anyone?
Thanks
Isn’t the BBC Red Button service currently dedicated to the Commonwealth Games? I don’t believe it has anything to do with your TV. It will be the same for everyone and all makes of connected TVs.

It looks like it has been removed completely “(The digital Teletext feature for the BBC has been removed from 2020 models onwards. This is due to a change in the services offered by the BBC).”
Hi @LightFoot
Yes it is dedicated to that. So, I would expect when watching the games for the red button to fire up the interactive services. It does nothing.
Am I wrong to expect this?

If you are pressing the red button while you are watching BBC 1 and confirmed that you are connected (try YouTube) and nothing happens then there is clearly a fault with the TV or Remote. I would contact your Retailer in the first instance and if they don't provide any help then contact Sony Support.

Edit: A few other questions, are you using LIVE TV & CATCH UP and what happens when you open the BBC iPlayer (inside Sony Select)?
Hey guys, the red key currently has no functionality on the Google TV models (All 2021 models except W800).

Hi @HannahEd01
I have a 2021 (KD-43X49J) and a 2022 (XR-55A95K) Google TV and your statement is simply not true!
The BBC Red Button service is working fine. Image taken 15:02.
Yea I would suggest following the article first above as it's the one for new Sony TVs after the update. Hopefully it works now, if not then yea you should give the support a shout.
