I have the 55" X8505B 4K TV.
When using the TV's built in media player app, I get no surround sound through my Sony BDV-N590 system. I'm using the Serviio app on my PC.
I would be grateful for advice!

In the Serviio Console, under the Transcoding Tab, ensure "Downmix to Stereo" is not used, and the option "Keep Original" is used instead.

Appreciate your quick response, but still no surround. Also speech not coming through centre speaker, but through front left and right. The display on the surround system displays TV.
How is the HT system connected to the TV? Is it via HDMI ARC or using an optical cable? In the latter you will not probably going to get the surround...
It seems that Dolby Digital 5.1 files play ok, it's only the DTS files that have no surround.
Maybe the TV's built-in media player doesn't play DTS files in 5.1? Is there a list of supported formats?
