I NEED A NEW SONY VGN-FW21L PALM REST.

Hi, Can anyone tell me, if this palm rest is compatible with my Sony laptop? 

My laptop is VGN-FW21L (MODEL NO. PCG-3D1M).

Palm rest i want to purchase if compatible, is:  VGN-FW11E (MODEL NO. PCG-3B1M). 

Palm rest looks identical to mine. Thanks.

If it looks the same it might be compatible, but Sony would recommend contacting a service centre for spare parts. Perhaps they can tell you if it's compatible or not: https://locator.sony/en_GB/servicecenters

Thanks for the reply. I won't be contacting Sony. Anyway, no service centre will be stocking these parts anymore, because i bought this laptop in 2009. Cheers.
