"nvlddmkm - error" CHIPPY AND BAD SCREEN FZ21M
HI,
Since last month my VAIO VGN-FZ21M has been acting crazy with the display. right from the boot screen to the desktop. its show all chippy screen in 640x480 res. or even lower.. I somehow go to the display options only to realize that its working on 4-bit , but not 32bit as it used to be. attached is the screenshot. I remember my vaio encoutering "nvlddmkm" error.
Things that I tried & did not work
1) nvidia driver update
2) system restore
3) several restarts
Pls advise quickly

OK.. Firstly no reply..
Secondly, i've gone to the SONY SERVICE CENTRE to ask them the about the problem.. they said that it was the motherboard issue and motherboard needs to be changed, which will cost me around 25k INR.. which is a big deal.. I'd get a VAIO MINI.. in that price...now. is there any cheaper way to get this thing resolved. MY FZ21M is 2 years old, which means its outta warranty. Now what should be done?
