Hello,
I connected my Vaio VGN-NW21SF with HDMI to Bravia KDL-40X4500. There is no possibility to get full screen on my TV ( 1080i / 1080p ). I've tested all RADEON 4570 settings - still no full screen ( I use zoom in TV........ )
My TV is 100Hz, but I can't enable it by Radeon settings... My PC with GF8800GT support FULL HD, my PS3 too - what is wrong with VAIO and Radeon HD 4570???
Please help me. Sorry for my english.
Hi kruzson and welcome.
Does this help?
BRAVIA Remote -> Menu -> Settings -> Screen -> Display Area and select "Full Pixel"
I'm not sure if it will fix your problem but it is worth a try.
I always use Full Pixel Mode in my TV if HD device connected. I've just setup Radeon driver to sigle display and adjust HDMI resolution for 1080p. I've get full screen corectly scalled by TV but there is no real 1080p with 100hz ( Radeon deliver to my TV lower resolution with 60Hz only, and it is scalled to get full screen on TV...).
I think, that Radeon HD 4570 is not able to manage with 1080i/1080p resolution with external display ex. Full HD TV or projector...
Ehhh....
