Hi!
I have a Sony vaio vgn fz18e notebook, with Vista operating system. Yesterday I've restored the notebook to factory settings. The problem I encountered is that now I have a 32-bit version of Vista and not 64-bit as it was before. Does anyone know how to get the 64-bit version back?
Thanks in advance!
Josip

Hi Josip,
As far as I am aware this model was released towards the end of 2007 with Vista Home Premium 32Bit OS – hence a return to factory settings has reverted from 64 to 32Bit.
Presumably, at some time, you or a previous owner has upgraded to 64Bit using a retail copy of Vista? If so the process will need to be repeated.
