vaio VGN-G11XN/B downgrade to xp

My poor old viao has almost ground to a halt with vista
Has anyone sucessfully downgraded this model to XP

An upgrade to Windows 7 may be a better long term bet.

However, if you want to go backward to XP the Sony provide the Drivers, Utilities and essential Applications for you to do the job here: -
