VPCF21Z1E, firefox is very slow Chrome is OK

I like and use Firefox on my other two computers but it runs very slowly on this Vaio.

Google chrome runs OK but I don't like it.

I have Comodo Internet Protection Suite and it is always up to date. There are no malware problems.

Windows 7 is fully up to date.

The HDD is split into two partitions. C: has 217 GB free of 349 GB, 😧 uses 151 GB free of 228 GB

I have tried Firefox with no extensions or apps, no improvement.

Any help would be appreciated.

Firefox works fine in firefox safe mode though (Firefox safemode with everything disabled not windows safemode)

Try upgrading your Firefox to its latest version. That should do the trick.
