xbox 360 universal remote with my vaio

So, after searching google for this, the only answer i came across was that the xbox remote works the same as all media center remotes, through IR, and will work with any media center PC, without an extra receiver of any kind. My question is will it work with my Vaio FZ21M, or will i need some kind of receiver, if so, can someone point me in the right direction

Hi kendo88,

I think only the Vaios with a TV Tuner Card have the IR Receiver included.

You can buy several IR Receivers, although usually with a MCE Remote. However they are so cheap these days!!
