can the tablet recognise a DSLR

I have a Sony A580 DSLR and was wondering whether I can connect to the tablet and use it like a large monitor. I believe the camera can be used in this mode with TV's

A live view input would be pretty cool but the USB port on the Tablet does not function to accept that kind of data. If this was going to be possible, a firmware update alone would not be enough since the A580 outputs video via HDMI and the Tablet only has USB so hardware modifications would also be required and lets face it, I can not see any modifications being made to any tablet to incorporate this.

the instructions say you can attach a dslr and a hardrive , you just need to get a USB A 2.0 female to Micro USB B male Cable Adapter.

Correct but that is only to transfer data, not use it as live view/feed.

just got my cable adapter , connected  my dslr camara and using es file explorer  or file  expert  you can view  the jpeg's  in es image browser or fe image browser .
