Cant get my O2 email to work on my Tablet S

Hi there

Got my sony S tablet a few days ago & I love it however I have tryed everything to get my O2 email on to the tablet but nothing happends.

Best I have done so far is to get it to accept the ingoing details, (mail.o2.co.uk) but when you get to the outgoing settings (smtp.o2.co.uk) nothing works!!!

PLEASE HELP GUYS!!!

Hi,

These are the settings i use to access my o2 account:

smtp.o2.co.uk

Port 25

Security type none

Require sign in  box ticked.

1. make sure you have updated the tablet to the latest software

2. in the smtp part of the email settings (as a bug work around):

-- first manually delete the automatically pre-filled in username and password

-- after that change the 'require sign-in' tick-box
