Exchange server, not on LAN

Hi. I can connect my Tablet S to the exchange 2010 server on my LAN by using the internal IP address and the built in mail app.

When I try to connect from outside the LAN using the address that is forwarded to the server, the Table doesn't find the server.

I can however connect from outside by using Touchdown for Tablet.

I would prefer to connect using the built in application as that also does POP addresses which Touchdown does not.

I used the same setting for the built in app as for Touchdown.

I have 2 servers on my LAN and so the exchange server isn't on the ususal port (433) but is on 4433.

If anybody has any tips I would be grateful.

have you tried to add the port to the ip adress?

I have 😞

I have tired with the IP alone, the IP with port number and I have a remote suffix on the domain that points to the IP with port.

ok

as a check: you are running the latest update on your Tablet S (Android 3.2.1 release2)  right?

I did. I solved it by letting the SBS server running exchange have the default settings and changed the port number on the othe server. It now works.
