How is the Sony Tablet S for reading in sunlight?

I am thinking of replacing my Sony e-reader with the Sony S tablet, but wonder how it is for reading in sunlight.

The tablet is like a laptop. It is very hard to read in sunlight.

My Kindle has been pretty much redundant since I started using the Kindle app on the tablet s, the only exception to this has been during the recent spell of bright weather when the tablet was impossible to use outside & I had to dust down the Kindle.
