Replacement Battery Sony Xperia Z2 tablet

My tablet Sony Xperia Z2

I use them about 4 years.

The battery is discharged after 3 hours of works (see films),

The question is: Is it possible to change battery on tablet?

Hi @a_subscriber, I'm sorry to hear about that.

My colleague has written a comprehensive troubleshooting guide for battery performance, which you may find here. Have you had an opportunity to have a look at it yet? If not, then i would recommend you to try that as a first step. Slightly_smiling_Face

If the above troubleshooting steps do not improve your battery life, then I would recommend you to contact your Local support for help with sending your device to a local service center for a technician to look at it. As this is a Global user based support forum, I'm afraid that I do not have market specific information to the extent that they do, which is why it is best to get in touch with your local team. Feel free to let me know how it went! Slightly_smiling_Face

1.I use STAMINA mode when battery is 30%. But it help much. After 30 minutes the battery is 0 %

2. In my country no Sony authorized service center.

Your local team are well informed in regards to local service routines, consumer laws and warranty terms which applies in your market. Have you had the opportunity to contact them?

The question remains unanswered:

Is it possible to change the battery on the tablet?

Does Sony sell it as sparepart ?

Is there nobody from Sony support who could answer that simple question ?

I have a battery problem with my Z2 tablet as well - it is "swelling" and there is now a noticeably bulge on the back of the frame (the front screen remains flat - I suppose the glass is stiffer than the plastic).

When I google about swelling batteries I see it is a safety issue.  However when I contacted Sony support, they have stated they have no support options available (no replacement parts availability).

What are we supposed to do?  Aren't companies supposed to make parts available to support their products for at least 7 years  (per the California lemon law)?

I just got mine back from Dynafix (sony's repair center in Belgium) and the idiots only put a paper with it with something like "your tablet is no longer compatible according to the OEM". No contact by email or phone, nothing, just a return without even testing. Seems like 4 years old tablets are just abandoned by sony.
