Hi Bazajay,
welcome to Questions & Answers..
Not sure if the guide below will help you set up your email account, although it's for a Hotmail account the process should be similar for your ISP..
The following should allow you to set up your hotmail account on the Sony tablet..
Go to Settings & click on add an Account.
Type your full Hotmail email address & then enter your password
Then click Manual setup.
On the next screen click on Exchange.
Next to Domain/Name delete what's currently shown and enter your full hotmail email address.
Skip the password line as this should be correct.
Next to Server change to m.hotmail.com
Then below Server option make sure that Use secure connection (SSL) IS selected & that Accept all SSL certificates is NOT selected.
Click Next.
You can change any of the following settings if you wish or simply click next if you want to accept the default ones.
Give your account a shorter name if you wish, then click next.
Then open your email app to view your emails..
Hi.Thanks for info, will try right away, sounds good to me.
Hi.Thalamus.

thanks for input.
Hi Bazajay,
did you change the settings shown in the guide to refelect those of your ISP..:smileyconfused:
If you are not sure of the correct info for your ISP check their web site as you may find them there..:smileywink:
Hi Thalamus.Yes.I put all relevent details,I have swoped my email many time from computer to new computer and had no trouble, just this tablet is a problem, maybe sony in tablet form will not take outside ISP,just the web based email
ie:Hotmail,Gmail ect ,what do you think ?.
Im running a "Webmail" account which I gained through Fasthosts and I had a problem when setting up my mail system on portable devices, PC's and laptops were not an issue. Initially it started off when configuring email on my iPod Touch and the same issues on my Tablet.
What I had to do was log in to my hosting package and change my email account type to a premium which was at no cost and the smtp mailbox changed and I was able to send and receive from devices and now runs fine on my Tablet. If you do not have a hosting package, get in touch with the email service provider to ask them to either confirm your details or account type.
When you say it does not accept your details, what errors or messages do you end up seeing?
